Simon J Hall, coder appassionato di console portatili, è riuscito ad ultimare il porting di Quake, versione PC, su Nintendo DS. Il lavoro è iniziato nell’ Ottobre 2006, e, nonostante l’esito positivo dei test effettuati prima della release, sono presenti ancora alcuni bug.
